Paddington Bear is a children's fictional character and is best known as
the bear from deepest Peru who was found at Paddington Station in London
by the Brown family. Paddington is never seen without his battered old
hat, and is often seen in his Duffle Coat Wellington Boots.
Paddington Bear is a very polite bear and always means well, although
Paddington does tend to get into trouble with amazing regularity.
Paddington was created by Michael Bond and appears in 14 books which are
illustrated by Peggy Fortnum.
